I am a geologist/geochemist with an active interest in understanding the biogeochemistry associated with Carbon (particularly methane) and related elemental cycling on Earth and habitable planets.

Currently, I am a Research Geologist in the Department of Natural Sciences at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington DC, USA. I am part of the 'Our Unique Planet' research program team looking at environmental conditions of Earth's early history, that enabled microbial life to evolve and made our planet a unique one with thriving life.
Professionally, I am passionate about inclusive geoscience education, R&D, science-based solutions to environmental and geological problems, and organizational development strategies.
Outside of science, I am a soccer enthusiast and an occasional electronic music mixer. My world, otherwise, consists of some lovely people that I'm lucky to call family and friends.
